Home Again!

So my first year of college is over on Wed. and I am really excited. It has been a great school year and made a ton of really good friends. Somehow, I ended up not having good roommates, but I practically lived with my friends and I consider them my first set of roommates. I took some fun classes and learned a lot bout what I DON'T want to do with my life, as well as what I DO want in my future. I grew up a little, but not too much.

I had many awesome adventures this year, one of which was yesterday when I went camping up in the wind caves and we heard coyotes really close to camp, and we also endured the rain and snow that Utah loves to spring on people. It was beautiful, and I loved it. I had a chance to think about life.
Anyway, I'm home tomorrow night, so we'll see how life goes now! :)

Falling

I read this on one of my friends Blogs and I felt it applied to my life really well, so I'll share it with you:

"Don't waste your time on someone who isn't willing to waste their time on you... Someday someone might come into your life and love you the way you've always wanted. If your someday was yesterday, learn. If your someday is tomorrow, hope. If your someday is today, cherish. After a while you learn the difference between holding a hand & falling in love. You begin to learn that kisses don't always mean something, promises can be broken just as quickly as they are made and sometimes goodbyes really are forever... It's amazing how someone can break your heart, but you still love them with all the little pieces. Sometimes you need to run away just to see who will come after you. A guy and a girl can be friends. But sooner or later one will fall for the other. Maybe too early, maybe too late, but maybe, just maybe one will love the other forever, unconditionally, no exceptions...Everyone in life is gonna hurt you, you just have to figure out which people are worth the pain. Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall. The sad truth is that opportunity does not knock twice. You can put things off until tomorrow but tomorrow may never come. Where will you be a few years down the line? Will it be everything you dreamed of? We seal our fate with the choices we make, but don't give a second thought to the chances we take. One day you may ask me which is more important, you or my life? And I will say my life, and you might walk away not realizing that you are my life .Just because someone hurt you yesterday doesn't mean you should start living life today in constant fear of being hurt tomorrow. Don't let your mistakes ruin your future but look towards the future with your mistakes in hand to remind you what you have been through and how strong you came out "

Mexico Trip Pt. 1

Well, I kinda am not very good at keeping this very updated, but i found some time, so I'll do it! This Holiday season, I gotta go Play in Mexico with my friend DJ Christensen. We flew out on my birthday and spent the night in Mexico city. The next day, we go to explore until around 5:00, where DJ was exploited by street clowns, then we caught a cab to the airport. It wasn't any cab, it was a cab driven by Francisco. Francisco took us all over the city too see the Silver factories, and the Chinese market. Here's a direct quote. "there's a rottweiler, but it's not a real rottweiler, it's Chinese rottweiler!" :) I thought that was funny. Anyway, we finally got to the airport, and ate food. Then flew out to go to Tuxtla-Gutierrez. From Tuxtla, we drove down to San Christobal, where we went practically straight to bed. When we got up in the morning, we were able to go to church in a small village where they didn't even speak Spanish, but Txotzil. So, I understood nothing except for when they asked me to read in Moroni.

After Church we went to take the missionaries to another village. I got to see a lot of the Indigenous part of southern Mexico that day, and i t was BEAUTIFUL!!! I will never forget the time I spent in San Christobal de las Casas.

Finally Breaking Down

Well, I'm giving in to the whole blogging deal. No one will read it most likely, so I figured, why not? At least it's some kind of journaling right?

So, pretty much life is going good. I'm going to school at Utah State University, and I love it! I just got called to be a sunday school teacher, so that will be an adventure, right?
I guess i should probably go to bed, so I'll update y'all soon, ok?
